confusion
in Cornwall
small
birds sing
such
sweet music
as
if with delight
so
loud their voices
hedge
is the centre
song,
such beauty
so
small the voices
choir
for Spring
loud
incessant chatter
announces
arrival
Summer is here
swallows
filling the air
walk
up Back lane
natural
floral profusion
violets,
primroses, bluebells
forget-me-nots,
daffodils
we're
told its the jet stream
weather
forecaster explains
mere
humans confused
no
one told the birds, plants and bees.
make
do with this maelstrom
of
seasons' compression
melded
and blended
we
trust Mother Nature
to
correct total imbalance
